First things first, let me present you with my answers to Quiz #2.
1) 6
2) Bases loaded home run.
3) Fair ball that bounces into the stands.
4) 5 - on a hit, a walk of the batter, a stolen base, a pitcher's
balk, on a fielder's choice.
5) A pitcher allows no hits over a full nine-inning game.
6) A pitcher allows no base runners over a full-inning game, facing
only 27 batters.
7) Can't fool me. 51.
8) I'd say 3 - strike out, hits out (line drive, pop fly, ground out,
foul out, or if he runs into his ball while running), ejection.
(interference may be one more but that usually results in a base
runner being called out, not the guy at the plate.)
9) Two. The catcher, and usually, the home plate ump.
10) None. They all do. (But remember the old AFL when you had teams
like The Portland Storm and The Chicago Fire?)
